The information competent student:

     2.  Finds and uses search tools effectively and efficiently using a search strategy using keywords, synonyms or subject headings.

This assignment is designed to enhance and deepen your knowledge of your assigned chronic conditions:

  • Noah-Asthma
  • Nikki-CF
  • Dillon-Lung and heart transplantation
  • Nick-End stage metabolic disease
  • Jordan-Diabetes
  • Tucker-Obesity
  • Andrea-Frailty
  • Lyndsay-Chronic fatigue syndrome

Your goal is to conduct an extensive review of literature of the specific issue you have chosen. You are required to produce a clear and persuasive written report based on well-documented evidence (100 points), and to prepare and conduct professional-quality presentation (50 points).

Method:

Use the following electronic search tools to retrieve materials for your assignment:

Present your review of literature in a formal report of at least 3,500 words and in a ten-minute formal presentation including visual aids. Your report must include information from at least eight sources.

At a minimum, each report should include the following items:

  • Title Page
  • Table of Contents
  • Executive Summary
  • Epidemiology
  • Pathophysiology
  • Exercise response
  • Treatment (all forms)
  • Exercise prescription
  • Conclusions
  • Works Cited

Throughout the report, use APA documentation style (in text citation and references) to cite all sources. You need to use at least eight different sources. For detailed APA documentation style use the following site:
